Well, it's been quite awhile, but I am back. Today is my 69th birthday, (Happy Birthday to me!) and I had a very nice, pleasant day. We went out to lunch, I made my birthday cake, (yellow cake, plain, with whipped cream), had a massage, then went out to dinner.
I've been following Pinterst, and am addicted, along with being addicted to several games, and Facebook. But Pinterst has allowed me to reacquaint myself with the things I love, like music, crocheting and knitting, gardening, cooking, and home stuff in general. As you can guess, I am a homebody, and love all things "home". I love home, nature, being outdoors, animals, especially cats and horses, crocheting, making homemade things, cooking, learning new recipes, etc., etc., etc. I have spent too much time with sad things in the past few years, and I need to find happiness with the NOW. I need to realize I am not too old to do the things I love and enjoy them as much as I can, and share them with others, too! So here I go, on a new path to a better life. I am a caregiver to my husband, so it is difficult sometimes to make time for me, but I am going to do it! I will be a better person for it, and I will show myself that I don't have to "get old". Later. JO.
